ICSOC 2017 – Call For Demonstrations

The 15th International Conference on Service Oriented Computing (ICSOC) offers the demonstration track as an exciting and highly interactive venue to show research prototypes/work in Service Oriented Computing (SOC) and related areas. Proposals for research prototype demos should focus on developments and innovation in the areas of service engineering, operations, cloud and big data services, implementation of services, as well as development and adoption of services in specific organizations, businesses and the society at large.

 Submissions

Submissions should be made no later than August 14, 2017 and have to include a description of the contribution, system overview, summary of the significance, novel contributions, and functions and features to be demonstrated.  Additionally, authors may optionally provide a short online video or screencast, not exceeding 5 minutes in length, of their demonstration. Descriptions need to highlight novelties and significance of the work, be written in English, and not exceed four (4) pages following the LNCS format (see http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html for details). Submissions have to be submitted electronically, in PDF format, via the Demonstration Track in the conference submission system.

Accepted demo papers presented at the conference will be included in the ICSOC’17 post-conference proceedings of satellite events, to be published by Springer in the LNCS series. A Best Demo Award, sponsored by Springer, will be given to the contribution that the Program Committee judges to be the best in quality, execution and impact among those accepted for the demo track.

At least one author is expected to register for and showcase the demonstration at the ICSOC 2017 conference in Malaga, Spain.
